The Undertaker has his way against a poor soul that’s about to be laid to rest. During the contest, both Undertaker and Paul Bearer share their plans for 1992 Royal Rumble and a certain WWF executive.
Mr. Perfect will not be a participant in the 1992 Royal Rumble, and the panel wants to know why. How will The Brain weasel his way out of this one? A harbinger of what happens months down the road. *Notice the ties worn by Heenan and Perfect from one week to the next…
Jan 1992: Prime Time Wrestling, final show prior to the Royal Rumble. Things get intense and heated as everyone at the forum panel has his own prediction on who will end up the Royal Rumble winner & WWF Champion. Classic stuff between Gorilla Monsoon (Hulkster fanboy) and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan (Flair Jock). Mr. Perfect and the Slickster also put in their two cents as “Host” Vince McMahon loses control of the show.
Obviously one of the world titles would have to be vacant. . and it’ll be the first time done since the 1992 Royal Rumble that Flair won for the WWF belt.
BQ:How much would this boost WWE’s current slagging ratings?
Dave Batista Wrestling Entertainment Earth is a warrior of the ring and a constructor to the heart muscle. What most people remember when Batista WWE is the topic of conversation is his chest, which are shaped like thick, even up and down. His arms are really huge and everyone loves the tattoos on both arms to right and left. The legs are of your claim. Affirms the right to have a high human syndrome, because he wanted, has never been able to do much smaller legs. In reality, people do not think my legs hurt at all. Meet Batista David Michael Bautista of birth January 18, 1969, the floundering giant was once a bouncer. His first attempt as a fighter began when he went to the WCW Power Plant. Once again welcome to another edition of The Showtime Chronicles. Since Wrestlemania is coming up, I will make my predictions on what matches I think will take place at Wrestlemania. I really never done predictions about matches that I want to see so this is the time to do that. As always, I will write my prediction that I will write something about the people in it. Well, let’s get started! 6-Diva Battle Royal (Woman’s Championship) Well the current Woman’s champion is Melina. What I was thinking for a match for her at Wrestlemania 25 is a battle royal for her Woman’s Championship. Who are the people in this match? Well they are, Melina©, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix, Candice Michelle, and Layla. The diva that I would expect to win this match is Melina. Melina is a great wrestler and I think WWE wants to keep her as a champion. I believe that any match she is put in at Wrestlemania, where she has to defend her title, she would win. Kelly Kelly has never won a title and I think that she deserves to win one. Layla should only stick with William Regal for now and not do anything. Well I think that at Wrestlemania, if this match happens, Melina will retain. Winner: Melina Maria vs. Michelle McCool vs. Maryse© (WWE Divas Championship) These three have been all having matches against each other. Some were one-fall and some where tag team. At Wrestlemania I expect a Triple Threat match for the Divas Championship. Maria is a great wrestler and for the first time, she is getting a big push towards the Divas Championship. Maryse who is the current champion won the title on Smackdown when she defeated Michelle McCool. Since Michelle McCool lost the Divas Championship, she has been attacking people. At Wrestlemania I expect Maria to win the Diva’s Championship. I also have a prediction that we might have a one-fall Divas title match between Gail Kim and Maryse. WWE aired their first Gail Kim video on Friday and I guess she is coming to Smackdown. Well anyway the winner’s will be either Maria if the she is a match or Gail Kim! Winner: Maria or Gail Kim Money in the Bank Match Ok so this will be the 5th Money in the Bank Match. I think that the people in it will be Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, Kane, Shelton Benjamin, Hurricane Helms, R-Truth, Evan Bourne, and Tommy Dreamer. Rey Mysterio needs a title opportunity so probably WWE will put him in this match. CM Punk is the current IC champions so he needs to get some kind of a match so they will probably put him in the MITB. Kane doesn’t have a storyline so I guess that’s why he will be in the match. WWE are probably planning a feud between Shelton Benjamin and R-Truth so both will be in the MITB. Evan Bourne is injured and he can do great in matches like MITB so he will be in it. Tommy Dreamer loves weapons and he is extreme so he should get a push. Last but not least, Hurricane Helms. The guy is great. He has been doing great all this years and I believe if he is in the MITB he will do great. Thinking of a winner of this match is really hard because all people are great. I would say CM Punk to win but he wouldn’t. The only person that I think has a chance of winning this match is Rey Mysterio. Rey hasn’t been a champion since his World Title win before. If Rey Mysterio wins the MITB, he will probably go after the World Heavyweight Champion and win the title. Winner: Rey Mysterio Shawn Michaels vs. J. B. L So we got Shawn Michaels vs. JBL. This storyline began when Shawn Michaels became JBL’s employee. Shawn and Bradshaw have hated each other since than but they had to do business together. Shawn Michaels is Mr. Wrestlemania and he will stick to that name for more Wrestlemania’s to come. I really have nothing much to say about this match except that history will be made again by Shawn Michaels. Maybe Shawn Michaels is not going to face the World Champion but he is facing JBL! Well, just look for The Switch Chin Music and the pin by Shawn Michaels! Winner: Shawn Michaels Undertaker vs. Vladimir Kozlov This match will happen at Wrestlemania but I think it is the worst decision that WWE ever made. Undertaker needs to have a match with someone like Shawn Michaels! One thing I can say about this match is that Undertaker will continue his Wrestlemania streak as he becomes 17-0 at Wrestlemania 25! Vladimir Kozlov will get a taste of the Tombstone Piledriver as Undertaker ends Kozlov’s singles match winning streak! Winner: Undertaker Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin Stone Cold Steve Austin will have his last match at Wrestlemania. Stone Cold Steve Austin is in the 2009 Hall Of Fame and now I think that he will have his last match against Chris Jericho. Although Chris Jericho is saying things about the Ric Flair and even the star of the movie “The Wrestler”, “Y2J” Chris Jericho is a legend. Chris Jericho is a great face wrestler, a great heel wrestler, and as a said a Legend. If I am not mistaken, Stone Cold Steve Austin said that he would want his last match to be against Chris Jericho. I agree with Stone Cold Steve Austin because Jericho is just great. If we get to see Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 25, that will make Wrestlemania even more historical. Stone Cold Steve Austin is a Wrestlemania Legend and I think that he wouldn’t want to be Wrestlemania 25. Stone Cold Steve Austin will officially enter the WWE Hall of Fame one night before Wrestlemania and I hope and wish that on the night of Wrestlemania, Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his one night return to the WWE ring as a wrestler. If we see Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin that will be a history for years to come! Who will win the match? Stone Cold Steve Austin will beat Chris Jericho after a, STONE COLD STUNNER! Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin Christian vs. Jack Swagger© (ECW Championship) This match will happen for sure. I am 100% percent sure. Christian is one of my favorite wrestlers and I expect nothing more from him than to make history at Wrestlemania! Captain Charisma is great. Christian knows how to put a great show and is a great champion. One thing I am sure about is that Christian is a better champion than John Cena. Jack Swagger had his time as a champion and now it is time for someone new to take a step forward and become the champion. Christian was a big star in TNA and now in WWE he will be the top star. Wrestlemania will have a new history. The new history will be “Captain Charisma” Christian becoming the ECW Champion! Winner: Christian Triple H© vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship Match) So finally Triple H has been revealed in WWE as Stephanie McMahon’s husband. I mean everybody knew that but WWE really never said anything. In WWF it was Stephanie and Triple H together but we haven’t seen them since than. Now what I think will happen is at WM25 we will see Triple H defend the WWE Title against Randy Orton. We will see a lot of things happening between this feud between Randy Orton and Triple H so that is why I think at WM it will be that match. Something that we can’t forget is that Randy Orton is the Royal Rumble winner so he has a guaranteed match for any title at Wrestlemania. Randy Orton also got his two guys, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiasee. Triple H now wants revenge for what happened to Stephanie McMahon and I think that this will be a great storyline between Orton and Triple H. To make things more interesting, WWE can make the match a Steel Cage or a Last Man Standing. Anything will be good for Triple H vs. Randy Orton. Who will win at Wrestlemania? Well, I think that Triple H will loose the title to Randy Orton. After Wrestlemania we will see Triple H get drafted back to Raw and than the feud will be better. Winner: Randy Orton Edge© vs. John Cena (WWE World Heavyweight Championship) Edge made history at No Way Out when he won the World Heavyweight Championship. For the first time ever in Elimination Chamber history, Edge came inside one Elimination Chamber as WWE Champion, lost and than entered another Elimination Chamber on the same night where he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The bad thing about my prediction is that I think John Cena will face Edge. Although I don’t want Cena to get another title he will be in this match. The thing that I am happy about is that I think John Cena will get drafted to Smackdown. If that really happens, Raw will be more interesting to watch. Cena had many title opportunities and about 99% of the time, he won the title. I really don’t know why WWE are making John Cena the champion all the time but I think it is a bad choice. Edge is my second favorite wrestler in WWE so really I am excited to see Edge against John Cena. Although I dislike John Cena, Cena is a great wrestler. Cena knows how to put on a show and knows how to make history. Edge on the other hand has already made history a lot of times. At Wrestlemania I expect “The Rated R Superstar” Edge to win the match and continue his reign as a WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Winner: Edge Well those were my predictions. I hope you all liked my article and I hope you will like my next one!
My favorite royal rumble of all time is 2007 because Undertaker and Shawn Michaels stole the show at the end!
Welcome to another edition of The Showtime Chronicles. In this edition I will post two of my favorite matches in each PPV of 2008 in WWE and I will write what happened in it. There are two parts of this article. This is the first part and the second part will be posted next week. Royal Rumble 2008 Randy Orton© vs. Jeff Hardy (WWE Title match) Randy Orton and the Intercontinental champion, Jeff Hardy had a little history at this point and Jeff Hardy was really mad because Randy Orton kicked Matt Hardy on Raw. Jeff Hardy went into this match and gave his best and honestly I think that this match was pretty good. We saw some outside ring action and the match was pretty good. At the end Randy Orton won by dodging a Twist of Fate and delivering a RKO. The 2008 Royal Rumble match This match was pretty surprising to me. I would have never thought that John Cena was going to win the Royal Rumble. This match was awesome. We saw some great action, two legends and a return. At the end I was so sure that “The Game” Triple H was going to win it all but than John Cena made his return to the WWE after an injury and eliminated “The Game” Triple H and won the Royal Rumble. This adds John Cena to the Royal Rumble history. No Way Out 2008 Smackdown/ECW Elimination Chamber Batista, Undertaker, Finlay, Big Daddy V, The Great Khali and MVP battled in this match for a match against the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania 24. The first two superstars that entered this match were the last two superstars that were in this match. Batista and Undertaker were the two superstars. When everyone else got eliminated, “The Phenom” and “The Animal” battled each other. At the end Undertaker was able to win the match. Undertaker reversed the Batista Bomb into a Tombstone Piledriver and got the victory. Undertaker headed to Wrestlemania 24. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Jeff Hardy vs. JBL vs. Umaga vs. Chris Jericho (Elimination Chamber) This match was incredible. There were 6 wrestlers with different types of techniques and basically the whole match was awesome. Umaga took a big beating in this match. After JBL got eliminated he brought in two steel chairs and they were used pretty well in this match. At the end, Jeff Hardy and Triple H were the two last superstars in this match. They battled for the grand prize, and that was a match against the WWE Champion at Wrestlemania 24. Finally Triple H delivered a pedigree on the steel chair to Jeff Hardy and got the pin. Triple H headed to Wrestlemania 24. Wrestlemania 24 The Money in the Bank match At Wrestlemania 24, CM Punk, John Morrison, MVP, Carlito, Shelton Benjamin, and Mr. Kennedy faced each other in personally I think the best Money in the Bank match. John Morrison showed some great wrestling action when he jumped of the turnbuckle to the outside delivering a backflip while holding a ladder. Later on in the match, we saw the return of Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy came out and attacked MVP while MVP was on the ladder. We also saw Chris Jericho executing the Walls of Jericho on the ladder. This match as I said was the best Money in the Bank match I have ever seen. At the end CM Punk grabbed the briefcase and won the match. Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels (Stipulation: If Ric Flair losses the match, he must retire) This match was a match that I think wrestling fans will remember always. “Nature Boy” Ric Flair and “Mr. Wrestlemania” Shawn Michaels had a historical match. Ric Flair was inducted into the Hall of Fame one night before Wrestlemania 24 and in this match he wasn’t just a wrestler, Ric Flair was a legend going into this match. At the end of the match Ric Flair had to retire because he lost to Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels delivered switch chin music to Ric Flair and got the pinned. This was the retirement match of Ric Flair. Backlash 2008 Batista vs. Shawn Michaels (special guest referee Chris Jericho) This match was pretty good. Batista wanted a match against Shawn Michaels because Shawn Michaels ended Ric Flair’s career in the retirement match at Wrestlemania 24. We also can’t forget that this was the match that started the whole “Y2J” Chris Jericho and “HBK” Shawn Michaels storyline. In this match Shawn Michaels injured his leg during this match but still was able to deliver a Switch Chin Music to Batista and win the match. Jericho later on after a couple of months, called Shawn Michaels a liar and smashed his head of a TV during the Highlight Reel. Triple H vs. JBL vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton © (Fatal-Four-Way Elimination match for the WWE title) I think that this match was the best match of the night. Triple H defeated 3 other man to become the new WWE Champion. Triple H not only won the WWE Championship but Triple H also ended “The Age of Orton”. JBL was the first person who got eliminated in this match and after that we saw three awesome wrestlers fight for the title. While Cena was chocking JBL, Randy Orton delivered his kick to Cena’s head and John Cena was the next wrestler to get eliminated. Later on “The King of Kings” Triple H defeated Randy Orton to become the 12 time World Champion. Judgment Day 2008 Triple H© vs. Randy Orton (Steel Cage WWE Title match) At Judgment Day, Triple H and Randy Orton faced each other in an awesome Steel Cage Match. Randy Orton was sure that he was going to win the WWE Title back and bring back “The Age of Orton” but he was not successful at completing this goal. “The King of Kings” Triple H was able to defeat Randy Orton is a long match by delivering a Pedigree to Randy Orton and getting the 3 count. Triple H retained his WWE title that night. Undertaker vs. Edge (World Heavyweight Championship) The World Heavyweight Championship was vacated and at the end of the night it remained that way. Undertaker and Edge battled each other in a brutal match but the end although Undertaker won the match; Vickie Guerrero kept the title vacated. Edge and Undertaker fought outside of the ring and at the last second, Undertaker was able to get back in the ring but Edge got counted out. Undertaker was the champion but Vickie Guerrero came out and said that this match can only be won by pinfall or submission. Undertaker although won, he was not named the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. One Night Stand 2008 John Cena vs. JBL (First Blood match) I am not a John Cena fan or JBL fan but I have to say that this match was pretty good. John Cena and JBL had an awesome match against each other and John Cena won. John Cena used a Steel Chain and executed the STFU on JBL using it. John Bradshaw Layfield was not able to get out of the STFU and he started bleeding. John Cena was the winner at this contest. Edge vs. Undertaker (TLC match for the World Heavyweight Championship) In this match, the WWE World Heavyweight Title was vacant and there was a stipulation in this match. GM Vickie Guerrero made a stipulation saying that if Undertaker looses this match, he will be banished from the WWE. “The Rated R Superstar” Edge and “The Phenom” The Undertaker gave their best in this match. With help from “The Familia”, Edge was able to win this match. Although Undertaker managed to fight back all of “The Familia” members that interfered in this match, Undertaker was pushed of a ladder by Edge falling on two tables that were on top of two other tables. Edge than grabbed the title and was named the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Night of Champions 2008 Triple H© vs. John Cena (WWE Title Match) This match was one of the main events of the night. It was a good match and I was so happy that Triple H retained. Both Cena and Triple H gave their 100% in this match but the whole time I thought that Cena was going to win. Cena had more action in this match than Triple H. Besides who had the most action, Triple H was able to win the match at the end. Batista vs. Edge© (World Heavyweight Championship match) I think that this match was pretty good but Batista got screwed. Batista had Edge the whole time and he was able to win the match but Edge got out of the ring on purpose and the referee started to count. Edge hit the referee and the GM of Smackdown; Vickie Guererro came out and called a new referee. The new referee was Vickie’s nephew and ECW Superstar, Chavo Guerrero. Batista before the end of the match picked up Vickie Guerrero and threw her out of the ring. Vickie fell on top of the whole “Familia”. Edge took advantage of the situation and hit Batista with the title. Than Chavo entered the ring as Edge pinned Batista and started counting. 1. . . . . . 2. . . . . . 3. . . . . Edge retained the WWE World Heavyweight title.
I want to watch the royal rumble today what time is it?
