Steve Austin was eliminated by Bret Hart, but an elimination isn’t official unless a referee witnesses it. The refs were busy breaking up a brawl on the other side of the ring when Austin was thrown out. The Rattlesnake quickly ran back in, and the elimination didn’t count.

Well, Austin last eliminated The Deadman to win, so there’s my question. Do you think that The Undertaker was the rightful winner of the 1997 Royal Rumble?

Sure, he may be the RIGHTFUL winner of the Royal Rumble, but Stone Cold is the man that won the match. Just because he did not do it honestly does not mean that he did not win the match.
